Redcar is a seaside town in North Yorkshire. The beach is our favourite bit of this town. The seafront has its entertainment which is not frequented due to the virus. Of course, the fish and chips is still going to be there. Gelatos have the long queues as usual.
Lockdown has not left us with much to do. At 8.30 pm we decided to go and see the sunset. Redcar seemed the quickest 20-minute ride from home. Google said sunset was at 9.45 pm so there was enough time to get there and have a lazy walk.

The sun, the wind turbines, the sky and the North Sea- nature mashed up with science, is mesmerising. Mankind has simply made the world a more beautiful place to live in and enjoy every part of it.

Sun kept going down. Our evening kept getting colder and we had to keep a fast pace with sun and dipping temperatures. Well, the lazy walk became a quick one to keep the blood going faster.

Walking brings out the adventure along the beach. A starfish is going to be an all-time favourite on these walks, no doubt. Late in the evening, with no people around there is time to discover some lovely shells and stones. One of my friends goes to Seaham regularly to look for coloured glass. As the tale goes, many years ago a glass carrying vessel was submerged and even now it throws out the glass to the shores. Fascinating!

And we finally return home at 11 pm. Not to forget the next day was a working day. Nevermind, family time and long walks bring back sweet happy memories forever and ever.
I love it. Beautiful !

I love the pic of the sea star!
I know there is a beach in NorCal, or maybe Oregon, known as glass beach… though it wouldn’t surprise me if it’s popularity has caused to it be picked clean.
I know there are websites dedicated to the lego figurines found on Cornish beaches, with an octopus and a dragon each being highly desirable.
