Mind is the most restless phenomenon. It is hard to control my mind on one thought. Its memory can be short or long. Both can be difficult to overcome.

Short memory of mind lets me forget the resolution I make every week about eating well.
Long memory of mind controls my behaviour in times of crisis and stress.
Mind over matter is a powerful tool to develop and learn in order to control our behaviour.
Let’s take an example, cake for me is matter and mind over it tells me to enjoy a piece with a cup of tea. That’s great, but suddenly ten minutes later my mind is telling all sorts of tempting voices to forget healthy eating habits and have another little slither and then again.
Why does my mind over matter have such a short memory. Nevertheless the battle continues.
