If a black cat crosses the road then wait till someone else passes through. Then you proceed through.
This is a common one I have grown with. If I had surrounding where I could wait I probably would do so but in UK I can’t possibly stop in the middle of the road.
I do believe in superstitions but can’t get my head round them. Blindly believe really. No base or logic whatsoever. Things like this get ingrained.
