Given up on rushing!!

Do you need time?

Enjoying every moment, don’t we all know this is great to practice. Time comes in the way and there is never enough of it to get the best out of the situation.

While driving I see people speeding, my thoughts that I give them through my mutters, ‘I will see you at the traffic light’. Maximum they will gain in time can be five minutes and sometimes even a speeding ticket. I stopped speeding at all cost. Instead started enjoying the trees and colours around me.

If I can call time, opportunity, then yes I need time. If there is something I can really use my time for, then I want and need it.

Time is interpreted in different ways. I prefer to go with time and take it easy, enjoy the journey and have no regrets because I tried my best.

I recently had to go on a long journey and I was worried about how to spend the hours, sixteen to be precise. With my planning I kept a Stephen King book, The Shining, which I finished on the journey and never realised I even knew how much time had passed and how much I actually enjoyed it, feeling accomplished at the end of it.

Checkout what you do with your time and more importantly are you enjoying every bit of it. This time never comes back. Love it, live it and be happy.

  1. Yes. If we want to define life objectively, I guess it’ll come down to this: that life is time. Every second of it until we’re off. At least I spent my last five minutes wisely reading this piece :)… By the way, was that your first reading of The Shining?

  2. Being in the moment is what it is all about for me. My glass is half full. I am reminded of the poem which begins with “Dare to be happy; don’t shy away. Reach out and capture the joy of today.” Have a lovely day!
