Do you remember life before the internet?
Maps, libraries, encyclopaedia, dictionary were used to gain access to information. Landline phones became cordless devices and remained the primary form of communication.
Cheques and banks were a thing. Cassettes and CDs brought music to life. Games were played on the grass and beaches. Entertainment was not confined to a mobile device.
All the above have been simplified by internet. I do love technology though I don’t know how it works. I will leave the experts to make it better for us.

I remember when Windows was released. I remember teaching someone to use a mouse. I remember keypunch machines, large floppies (7″? I swear they were 11″), and the first free-standing ATMs (in malls). Mostly, I remember talking face:face.
