The people in Patna I grew up with are my favourites. I love sitting in the winter sun with my children and my mother in the old verandah. A cup of black coffee and letting the world go by while we talk, is my ideal scenario.

Nowadays, in cities, it is impossible to get open balconies where one can sit and watch the greenery. In our village, the balcony offers a lovely view, and I hope it remains so. Sitting there early morning with my family is again one of my favourite things to do, though I haven’t done it for a while.

The time to gather them together is difficult; they are adults with their own lives. Let’s see when I can do this again with my family.
