What profession do you admire most and why?
I do feel teaching is the base of any nation and its future. Teachers can change pupils life and shape the world.
My parents were both professors and the knack of teaching they had, was remarkable. I used to get angry with my kids if they didn’t understand some mathematical questions but my mother would make it seem simple and clear to the kids so easily.
I bow my head to each and every teacher. Their patience and dedication to the profession is incredible whether it be primary school kids or adult learners in university. Happy be them who help to make us worthy .
Glad to see so many other posts about teaching. It’s arguable they often do the most, but are appreciated the least. Especially considering, they are shaping what your kids, you, and others can and will be.

I think that also parents shape your life immensely and so do a few teachers and sometimes bad experiences can help you early on to grind your gears another way.

Yes, they are the first teacher and the most important. How they think about authority figures is often passed on to their kids.
