What’s your favorite game (card, board, video, etc.)? Why?
Dice rolled, I looked up with my winning grin. Four dots came on and I was almost going to topple the whole board. Snake got me and I was down to second row. Unbelievable, not again.
Yes, Snakes and ladders is one of my favourite game. It brings everyone together. The ups and downs in the game gets the emotions charged up in the same way. Shouting, yelling and crying are all part of it alongside the competitive spirit.
My kids played it a lot too, especially when they were younger, with their grandma. All of them as bad as each other when it came to loosing. I used to love the heated atmosphere in the room when the snake was close by and also the jubilant laughter of getting on a ladder.
This has reminded of the game and I am going to have a go at it over the weekend. Have a lovely day. Enjoy and be happy.

Of course outdoor is better. But some cold evenings or the northeast of England where it rains a lot, we don’t have the choice always .

Is that a real game and a variant of Chutes and Ladders?
I get really upset with myself if I lose a game, and then stress out about appearing to be fine, so I tend not to play them. Instead, I watch others play games.

I really beat myself up for not being the best/perfect, even if the game is purely chance.
The women in my family used to’play’ trivial pursuit by psychically sending the correct answers to whoever was actually playing. It was ridiculous to watch us squint as we attempted to send and receive the answers. That oart was fun!
