What do you wish you could do more every day?

My walking has gone down, and I am not happy about that. I want to walk more everyday.

Our lunchtime would be great for a quick twenty minute walk around the park and we used to do it regularly but recently there is never anytime, not even for a proper lunch. Nearly every day I eat my lunch in front of the computer.

Getting out of the room at least for lunch was something I really cherished but nowadays it’s just not been possible.

I may have to slowly reassess my time management and get back into the habit of doing things that I enjoy.

It is never late to change the schedule we build for ourselves. Let’s hope I can do it and feel happy about it.

  1. you should have seen the sorority sisters as we had our manicures and pedicures. they had apple lap tops and apple phones and were multi tasking. me i took a nice nap.

  2. Easy way to think of it. You have activity and then you have exercise. Activity can be anything from calf raises at your desk to jumping jacks, to taking the stairs instead of the elevator. Exercise is specialized activity or training that has a purpose or goal in mind such as running, sports, or lifting

    If you can’t get your usual walk in due to time constraints, I would recommend two options
    1) Get your walking in earlier before work, or later after work. Walking daily is super important even if 10-15 min a day can help
    2) Do small activity at your desk like calf raises, jumping jacks, squats or other light body weight work

    Blood flow and keeping the body from being sedentary for long periods of time has substantial benefits and reduces risk of cardiovascular problems and other health issues
