Day 8

Well, day 8 was the day to say bye bye to New Zealand. We had kept the morning to relax and get up late and then checkout at the last minute. Make the most of the alpine views with teas and coffees in bed.

Left the luggage with hotel for an hour, a quick stroll around the beautiful lake and then got our uber to the airport.

New Zealand airways was great and we enjoyed our quiz on the plane which comes continuously on the monitors. My husband loves all the quiz programmes on television so the flight was gone in no time and we flew across to Brisbane.

Australia, we were here. Our friend picked us up from the huge airport which is well organised and we went to his house.

Loved the housing area, clean and well kept. We were ready for some home cooked meal and a good night sleep. Tomorrow was another day to be travelling with friends and his family.
