What TV shows did you watch as a kid?
As a child we never had a television. I guess, because of this, our time was used much better. I was not allowed to sit idle. Learnt sewing, knitting, embroidery and crochet. Always reading story books.
My favourite thing was to spend time on the rope swing hanging from the mango tree. Before and after school it was customary to run there and have a few rounds of exhilarating fun air time in pure nature.
I did not care much about the world. Lived in my own little world in the most carefree way. Never knew about television and so glad my father did not buy one till I was sixteen years old. It was called The Idiot Box back then.

I still don’t like to spend time watching television. I like to spend time alone. I like to read the articles I write and talking to my close friend.
