Wonderful things have happened in the last few weeks.

Margaret Keenan, the first patient in Britain to receive the Pfizer/BioNtech Covid-19 vaccine at University Hospital, reacts at the start of the largest ever immunization program in the British history, in Coventry, Britain, on December 8, 2020.

Yes, of course, Covid vaccination tops my list, nothing better to imagine a world that can get back to normalcy again.

Two of our registrars passed their exams and will become General Practitioners very soon. When my registrars take exams I am probably the same sort of nervous as they are but of course the stakes aren’t as high as theirs. Eagerness to see a PASS on their portfolio and that waiting kills me too.

One of the registrars recently bought a house and the happiness cum excitement that goes with it all is palpable in every conversation. I love the fact that young doctors are able to settle down well and carry on a fulfilling life. The dilemmas, emotions and unknowns are very interesting when I am assured in myself that it will all turn out okay in the end.

But to top it all, one of the registrars has published a book.

It is about his life in Nigeria. He is a quiet doctor and gets on with his job. I never knew somewhere inside was an author. Now I am hoping he will guide me in my journey as a writer and be my mentor. I haven’t stopped smiling whenever I think about this.

My love to keep fit always helps me to get through hard and tough days. I have been following an exercise regime and sticking to it. I am thrilled. I am getting better at it every day.

I loved the take away we had last night. We were all craving some spicy food and what better than a local Indian Restaurant that is open for pick up and delivery only. We all devoured and enjoyed it thoroughly.

Happy Sunday to everyone. Love yourselves. Love your life.
